I am a bicyclist who was struck by a car on 202 this morning at 10:15 and I am writing to express my appreciation for your professionalism. You got there very fast and the gentleman who triaged me was clearly well-trained; you could just see that he was carefully evaluating my condition and assessing the need for hospitalizing me. He asked all the right questions and he was obviously observing me very closely. I believe he would have been more comfortable if I had gone directly to the hospital and I want to stress that my decision to go to an ER that was nearer to where I live was an informed decision based on my opinion about what was best for me. I hope that my decision to decline a trip to the hospital does not count against the team.
My bike club, Morris Area Freewheelers, ran the Revolutionary Ramble charity ride last year to raise money for organizations like yours. Each of 13 organizations got $1000 out of that and we are running the ride again this year in June. I don't know if you were one of the organizations that benefited last year but I am going to copy the people who are in charge of the ride to make sure they know what you did.
I am lucky that I dodged a bullet this time but it is really reassuring to know that you are there when things like this happen.

Sending a hello from Maine! Great website! While it's not the same as being there, reading the call history brings back some memories. Keep up the good work - Branchburg has always had an awesome, dedicated squad!

Wow, Great web site !!!! All the best to Branchburg's finest. Is there any way to be included in the past members roster? My brother Michael and I have done our time(Best time of our Lives) with some of the best people we have ever met. Barb Apsley, Jill Apsley, Kenny Apsley, Denise Apsley, Bobby Lyle, Carol Waechter,Jean Mundy, Grantley Nurse, Sarah Jones, Kevin Anderson...... Served 1984-1990. If I lived in Branchburg, I'd join in a second.
God bless the Branchburg Rescue Squad and God Bless our friends mentioned above. Tom Lenahan
P.S. The Branchburg Rescue squad was our (Lenahan Family) savior. You've helped my Mom, My Dad and saved my Uncles Life. Many of those above took part in those acts of kindness.
