The Rescue Tools from HR745-6 went to work tonight as the Branchburg Rescue Squad and Branchburg Police Department where dispatched to the intersection of Route 202 & Old York Rd, Branchburg Township.  First arriving officer was EMS Sgt Buchanan, who reported entrapment of 1 driver that was injured, with all southbound lanes closed.  BLS 7452 along with Heavy Rescue 7456 arrived and immediately worked to stablize the vehicle and begin a full side removal under the direction of Rescue Sgt Hoffman.  A Second BLS unit, ALS Medic 681 and 1 engine from 24 Fire where requested to the scene.  The patient was extricated and turned over to EMS Crews for transport to local trauma center before all units cleared the scene.  Branchburg Police Department is investigating the accident.
